Lebanon is not part of the Hague Convention and will require the Authentication of the State and the Lebanese Embassy or Consulate. Personal documents must be notarized. Documents issued by the State, County or Court in California must be Certified copies in order for us to be able to process the documents with the State and Lebanese Embassy or Consulate.
In order to process personal document with the Lebanese Embassy or Consulate we will need the following:
1- Original documents
2- Notarized Copy of the ID or Passport of the Applicant.
In order to process Power Of Attorney and Affidavits with the Lebanese Embassy or Consulate we will need the following:
1-The affidavit must be signed by the applicant and two witnesses.
2-The affidavit must be notarized by a notary public and include the following statement on the page bearing the signature of the applicant and the two witnesses:
"Before me appeared personally Mr/Mrs/Ms…….. and witnesses Mr/Mrs/Ms……… and signed this document, this day …/…./….”.
3- Notarized copies of applicant and witnesses valid ID cards.
In order to process School Records with the Lebanese Embassy or Consulate we will need the following:
1- The certificate/transcript must be notarized by the school, college, or university.
2- Please note that the school, college, or university must be accredited in the United States, and a proof of accreditation must be provided with the application.
3-Notarized copy of the ID or Passport of the Applicant.

Each signer must present at least one of the forms of ID listed below. The ID must be current or, if expired, have been issued the last 5 years; contain the signer's photograph, personal description, and signature; and bear a serial or other identifying number.

4- Driver's License issued in Mexico or Canada.
5- Foreign Passport stamped by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
6- Inmate ID Issued by the California Dept. of Corrections.
